Today was the day and two winners of the design competition came with their parents to our office in Oudkarspel. On behalf of Tech@connect, Kyona Lambregts also came along. Jill and Nora participated together in the swimming pool design contest. This contest was organized during the PET-event in Den Helder where children can get acquainted with technique. As we at Variopool have a lot to do with technology, this event fitted in well with us. We are happy to do our bit to make young people enthusiastic about technology.
The Variopool assignment was for the children to design ‘something’ to use in a swimming pool. They could do this with LEGO bricks. Jill and Nora also participated and submitted a slide with a traffic light and a zip line for the pool. After an extensive tour of our company by Managing Director Klaas Jan Ruder, they were presented with fun prizes by Fred van Eck of the Marketing Department.
