Ostend city swimming pool opts for movable floors
The swimming complex consists of four pools. The 50 by 25 meter competition pool will be equipped with 10 lanes and a grandstand that can accommodate 300 people. The instruction pool is 4.2 meters deep and will be 25 by 10 meters. The recreation area consists of two pools: the toddlers’ and children’s pool and the recreation pool for older children. A whirlpool and a sauna will be provided. Variopool will provide a complete package. A movable floor measuring 25 x 17 meters will be installed in the competition pool, which can reach a water depth of 2.5 meters. The instruction pool will also have a movable floor measuring 25 x 10 meters and going down to a depth of 4.2 meters.
